Dr Naveen Rao received his superspeciality plastic surgery training from KEM hospital, Mumbai, and then he received his advanced cosmetic surgery training from well known international cosmetic plastic surgeons. Dr Naveen Rao is practicing at JCI accredited [USA] Apollo hospitals group for the last several years as consultant cosmetic plastic surgeon. He is, being working at JCI accredited hospital, treated international patients from all round the world.
To update recent advancements in cosmetic surgery, he completed more than100 hours of international tutorials in aesthetic plastic surgery, conducted by Dr Thomas Biggs [USA], which is recognized by medical council of India & international society of aesthetic plastic surgery [ISAPS, USA].
Dr Rao also participated in various courses conducted by ISAPS education council-USA including international course on treatment of aging skin & facial rejuvenation.
Dr Naveen Rao underwent endoscopic plastic surgery training from Prof Alfred C Berger & Dr A Krause-Bergman, Germany at Ethicon Institute. Dr Naveen Rao have attended various workshops conducted by Tata memorial hospital, Mumbai related to breast surgeries including breast reconstruction.Dr Naveen Rao is one of the few surgeons to offer treatment for post bariatric surgery, post weight loss patients.
Dr Naveen Rao received special training and operated hundreds of hair transplant procedures[including latest fue method,microfollicular transplant],fat transfers, liposuction using latest equipments, all types of tummy tucking[including endoscopic method] procedures.
Dr Rao also expert at cosmetic breast surgeries, rhinoplasty& other facial plastic surgeries, gynecomastia corrections & genital cosmetic surgery procedures.
